It's goin' in my mouth!

This past Saturday, we took the girls to VenRoy's for our second annual blueberry picking excursion. Even though it was SOOO hot, the girls did great! Megan was an awesome blueberry picker, and had her bucket nearly full! Rachel also enjoyed picking the blueberries, but she would eat every single one she picked. When we'd say, "Put them in your bucket, Rachel," she'd say, "NO!!" At the most we counted three berries in her bucket at a given time. The rest (only God knows how many!) went in her tummy. We picked 9 pounds of blueberries total, and I spent the next few days making two different recipes of blueberry muffins, blueberry freezer jam, and blueberry chicken salad. We set some aside to eat now (they're SOO sweet!), and froze the rest, for another year's worth of blueberry pancakes. Yum!
