Choose Your Words Carefully...

A quick funny story from our weekend....

On Saturday we got our family pictures taken at church for the upcoming church directory. After the photographer was done, and while we were waiting for the Olen Mills salesman to come and show us our photos, I said under my breath to Bill, "We don't need to buy a lot of these pictures. Don't be a sucker." Rachel, who was sitting on my lap at the time, heard the word "sucker," and immediately started crying, "Sucker! Sucker! Sucker!" (as in, the candy kind. As in, "I want one right now!"). She was quite angry that I didn't actually have a sucker. Just a little reminder that young children hear EVERYTHING we say, and will interpret it with their own little minds!
