Today was a beautiful fall day! Temps were well into the 70s, warm enough to pull out those shorts and t-shirts again! Daniel and I made the most of it. The photo above is of him running around joyously in the leaves in our backyard, just before lunch. He enjoyed chasing me.
This afternoon, we went outside to wait for the girls to arrive home on the school bus. We sat in the grass between the sidewalk and the street and played with the fallen leaves. Daniel was so cute, holding a leaf up in the air and letting the breeze take it away. He would exclaim, "(It) blow away!" He loved watching the wind take the leaf up and away. He also kept saying, "Where they go?" He is really talking so much more now. It's fun to hear what comes out of his mouth!
Today I'm thankful for warm fall breezes and a yard full of leaves, and the company of a not-quite-two-year old boy. So much fun to sit back, take a minute, and enjoy seeing the world through the lens of his enthusiasm and excitement!
